we take sustainability seriously!

Our concern for environmental and social impact is our constant companion and we take sustainability seriously!

We compost 100% of our coconut husks and reuse 100% of our industrial water on our plantation. Our industry have recently obtained HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point) certification and ensure that all plastic packaging used by Coolconut has less impact on the environment.

Nature is our source, our way of life and our inspiration. We genuinely care about it.

coconut husks

Did you know that it takes about 10 years for coconut husks to naturally decompose and in landfills the decomposition process is even longer?

We recycle this organic material. Our coconut husks are shredded and used as organic material in our plantation and by our suppliers. We proudly declare that no coconut husk from our plantation has been sent to any landfill.

water reuse

The irresponsible use of water is a global problem and we have implemented measures to mitigate the impacts our industry may cause.

All the water we use to sanitize the fruits and bottles in our industry is reused in the irrigation of our coconut plantation in the Southeast of Brazil.

plastic

Our PET bottles are BPA-free (free of Bisphenol A, a hazardous component to health and present in many plastic materials) and we have already significantly reduced the weight of our bottles by 14% through innovative technologies.

Despite being strong initiatives, it is not enough, and we are developing a project to use only recycled PET for our bottles.
